I will give you the straight answer. I bought mine from Blue Nile for about $8,000. I asked my jeweler the same thing. He said it is safe for daily wear as long as you avoid harsh chemicals.
It depends on your skin and how often you wear it. Mine is fine, but a friend had issues within weeks.

After trying several options myself, I compared James Allen and Charles & Colvard before deciding. Yes, I have had mine for two years and it still looks great. Just clean it regularly with soap and water.
Save your money. The difference is noticeable but not worth the premium for most people.

Great question. I bought mine from Brilliant Earth for about $1,500. I would say yes, especially if you are on a budget. I have had zero problems so far.
