Will prong repair leave a mark? Edited

This is one of the most common questions I see here. My jeweler recommended Brilliant Earth. This is totally normal. Mine did the same thing for the first month then settled.

I asked my jeweler the same thing. He said it is safe for daily wear as long as you avoid harsh chemicals.
