This is one of the most common questions I see here. Not worth the risk in my experience. Spend a little more and buy from a real store.

Here is my honest take after owning one. I ordered from James Allen online. Yes, I have had mine for two years and it still looks great. Just clean it regularly with soap and water.
I asked my jeweler the same thing. He said it is safe for daily wear as long as you avoid harsh chemicals.
