Short answer: My ring came from Charles & Colvard with a full certificate. I asked my jeweler the same thing. He said it is safe for daily wear as long as you avoid harsh chemicals.
Not worth the risk in my experience. Spend a little more and buy from a real store.

Based on my experience: My jeweler recommended Etsy. It depends on your skin and how often you wear it. Mine is fine, but a friend had issues within weeks.

I talked to my jeweler about this last month. I went with Etsy on Etsy and saved a lot. This is totally normal. Mine did the same thing for the first month then settled.
