I have had mine for over two years now. My jeweler recommended James Allen. I asked my jeweler the same thing. He said it is safe for daily wear as long as you avoid harsh chemicals.
It depends on your skin and how often you wear it. Mine is fine, but a friend had issues within weeks.

This is one of the most common questions I see here. I would say yes, especially if you are on a budget. I have had zero problems so far.
