Short answer: I bought mine from Amazon for about $500. I would say yes, especially if you are on a budget. I have had zero problems so far.
It depends on your skin and how often you wear it. Mine is fine, but a friend had issues within weeks.

Here is my honest take after owning one. My jeweler recommended Amazon. This is totally normal. Mine did the same thing for the first month then settled.
