Budget is flexible but I do not want to overpay. I have been researching for weeks and still cannot decide.

Short answer: A friend of mine got hers from Etsy and loves it. Save your money. The difference is noticeable but not worth the premium for most people.
I asked my jeweler the same thing. He said it is safe for daily wear as long as you avoid harsh chemicals.

Let me break this down clearly. A friend of mine got hers from Etsy and loves it. Short answer: no. I switched after a few months and never looked back. The upkeep was not worth it.
I would say yes, especially if you are on a budget. I have had zero problems so far.
