Great question. I ordered from Amazon online. This is totally normal. Mine did the same thing for the first month then settled.
I asked my jeweler the same thing. He said it is safe for daily wear as long as you avoid harsh chemicals.

After trying several options myself, I have heard good things about Charles & Colvard, but I personally used Brilliant Earth. Not worth the risk in my experience. Spend a little more and buy from a real store.
I would say yes, especially if you are on a budget. I have had zero problems so far.

I wear mine every day, including to the gym and to sleep. After a year and a half it still looks brand new.
