Here is what I have found after researching for weeks. A friend of mine got hers from Amazon and loves it. Short answer: no. I switched after a few months and never looked back. The upkeep was not worth it.
Yes, I have had mine for two years and it still looks great. Just clean it regularly with soap and water.

My bench jeweler told me the main thing people regret is skimping on the setting. The stone itself is fine, but a weak prong will let it fall out. Spend a bit more on a solid setting.
